Dr. Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO is an internationally recognized leader in metabolic and
integrative oncology and a pioneer of terrain-centered approaches to cancer and chronic illness.
For more than three decades, she has advanced a systems-based model of care that explores the
interconnected biology of metabolism, immune resilience, inflammation, circadian rhythm,
environment, and the lived realities that shape human health.
A global educator and visionary systems thinker, Dr. Winters created training programs for
clinicians, allied health professionals, and health advocates worldwide—empowering
communities with practical, assessment-driven frameworks that support personalization and
precision. She has also served in nonprofit executive leadership, supporting grant-based access to
integrative care for patients and families.
Dr. Winters is the creative medical architect behind a residential integrative cancer hospital and
research institute concept grounded in regenerative farming, sustainable design, and intentional
community—bringing together farmers and physicians, patients and caregivers, science and soil
to support a more relational, rhythmic, and regenerative future.
She is a co-author of The Metabolic Approach to Cancer as well as Mistletoe and the Future of
Integrative Oncology and the voice behind the Tend the Terrain Podcast and the Tend the
Terrain Substack.
