Thomas Lodi, M.D.
Not Just a Physician…A Clinical Psychologist, a Nutritionist, a Historian, and a Philosopher
Thomas Lodi, MD has been practicing medicine for 35+ years and, in 2005, transferred his practice from New York to Mesa, Arizona where he founded An Oasis of Healing. At that time, few if any other centers provided integrative cancer care: an intelligent, rational blend of effective therapies from all medical and healing disciplines.
He has pioneered what has now become the definitive route for those unsatisfied with the modern cancer treatment system.
Dr. Lodi’s goal is health and where there is health, not only is there no cancer…there is also no diabetes, no high blood pressure, heart problems, no neurological problems, etc.
Dr. Lodi’s healing approach has revolutionized the integrative oncology industry worldwide, but in order to reach more people, he and his colleagues developed an online program that empowers the everyday person to control aspects of their lives that will facilitate in the prevention of cancer, the elimination of cancer, and overall health restoration.

This dynamic Stop Making Cancer course is a self-paced, evidence-based program that includes information on both conventional and alternative therapies as well as instruction and training so that people can begin their own journey back to health IMMEDIATELY from their own home.
“The goal is not merely to eliminate the existing cancer, but to restore health so that the cancer does not return.” – Dr. Lodi
“It was never my intention to become a doctor. Ever. I was a student of life and health from the age of 16. If one studies life and health, it becomes clear quite soon that the last thing in the world you’d want to do is get into the medical profession because it’s anti-life, anti-health…it’s really disease-care, not health care. I went off to India and lived there for a while then returned to the USA. I went into psychology and became a practicing clinical psychologist.
It became clear to me that there was a hole in my knowledge; I did not understand how the body worked and, if it was sick, how it affects the mind. Or, if people were taking medications, what effect those medications have. So, I went to medical school to round out my knowledge. Not to become “A DOCTOR.” After finishing medical school, I completed formal, specialty training in internal medicine and went on to do subspeciality training in oncology. However, I left the program early because I could not watch what we were doing to our patients. After 2-6 weeks, they had become extremely sick, lost their hair, were depressed …. and this was all due to our treatments.
I established one of the first integrative oncology centers in New York in early 2002 and then moved to Arizona where I founded An Oasis of Healing in 2005…a healing center, not a “treatment facility.”
A “treatment facility” implies that people have a “disease” that needs to be eliminated. There is no “disease” – only the body adapting to unfavorable circumstances…where biological needs are not being met. Once all biological needs are restored and the body cleansed, the adaptation is no longer necessary, so the “disease” is gone and so are all the other adaptations that the body may be doing, like raising blood pressure or becoming insulin resistant, etc…..it all fades away.” – Dr. Lodi

Integrative Oncology Defined
Metabolic Medicine Overcomes The Limitations Of Cancer
Did You Know:
The consequences of living in accordance with the natural laws that govern biology result in optimal functioning and vitality throughout all stages of life from infancy to advanced old age; and it is only when these laws are violated does the emergence of ‘disease’ appear. Clearly then, by the adoption of a lifestyle that adheres to these fundamental laws of biology, health can not only be restored but maintained for those suffering with cancer.
Having been a student of life, health, and nutrition long before attending medical school, the “disease -based” curriculum made no sense to Dr. Lodi who already knew “disease” to be a physiological, biochemical and psychological adaptation to a life that failed to satisfy all of the biological and psychosocial requirements necessary for optimal functioning.
The clinical application of this understanding resulted in a “health-based” paradigm rather than the false and mythological approach of “fighting disease,” as if ‘it’ were something external that invaded people and needed of being destroyed.
Beginning in 2000, Dr Lodi, considered one of the pioneers in integrative oncology, began applying these principles along with the integration of metabolic and immune enhancing therapies to the treatment of cancer.
Since the year 2000, Dr Lodi has founded cancer centers, trained physicians, nurses, colon therapists, and chefs in the United States Thailand, and Malaysia.
