Dr. Michelle Jorgensen is an author, speaker, teacher, biologic/holistic dentist, and health and wellness, provider. After practicing traditional dentistry for 10 years, Michelle became very sick. Through her own path to return to health, she discovered she had mercury poisoning from drilling out mercury fillings for her patients.

This path lead her to discover ways to improve her family’s and her own health in all facets of life. She found answers in the kitchen, in the garden, and at home. She has found what it takes to Live Well, in today’s world, and now with Living Well with Dr. Michelle, she wants to share those ways to Live Well with you.

Michelle is a Functional Integrative Dentist (DDS) and a Board Certified Traditional Naturopath(BCTN).  She has received certifications as a Therapeutic Nutritional Counselor(TNC) and a Certified Nutritional Autoimmune Specialist(CNAS).  She is constantly pursuing training in health-based dentistry, plant based medicine, organic gardening and more from institutions around the world.

Dr. Jorgensen also teaches and coaches groups of health care professionals from across the country who come to learn the Total Care Way.  Her goal is to change the way health practitioners look at health and open their eyes to a truly integrative model.  This group includes Dentists, Chiropractors, Naturopaths, MDs, Nurse Practitioners, Nutritionists, Massage Therapists and more.

Dr. Michelle and her family have built and run the Living Well Homestead where they strive to live a self-sufficient life. She lives what she teaches and shares life lessons from her own personal experiences daily.

Her husband, children and grand babies all help on the homestead where they grow, harvest, and preserve their own food and medicine, and share it with the local community.

At her on-site education center, Dr. Michelle and her team of passionate experts have taught thousands of families how to grow their own food, preserve what they grow, make their own medicine,  cook garden to table, store for emergencies…and so much more!

Dr. Michelle started the Living Well Foundation – a non-profit focused on cultivating projects that help people live well in the world today.

This includes providing organic, locally grown food,  teaching community members how to grow their own food, supporting preparedness efforts, helping community gardens and resources grow and more.

Dr. Michelle also founded Heritage Gardens, a non-profit gardening co-op that teaches students and community members about organic, sustainable gardening and living.
