Nathan S. Bryan
Dr. Bryan has been a pioneer in nitric oxide research for over 20 years. He has made many seminal discoveries in the field which has resulted in dozens of issued U.S. and International patents. Dr. Bryan is an internationally known expert in the field of molecular medicine and nitric oxide biochemistry. He has also authored five books and numerous highly cited research papers.
He completed his B.S. in Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin and his doctoral degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He then completed his post-doctoral training at Boston University School of Medicine in the Whitaker Cardiovascular Institute. In 2006, Dr. Bryan was recruited to join the faculty at The University of Texas Health Science Center by Dr. Ferid Murad, a Nobel Prize winner known for his work with nitric oxide.
